GRAVEYARD, PT. II

Week 6 → 8 (Graveyard)
You have died.
[When next you wake (if you can call it that), you are standing before your own tombstone, which is one in a row of all of the other people, whether they manifest in the graveyard or not. You are at the edge of a jungle, though its inner depths are impossible to see through a ring of thick fog, and all of the graves (which will be lined up next to each other) stretch alongside the scattered trees. It is possible to walk into the fog, although it comes with a feeling of danger.
Away from the fog is a stretch of beach, circling around - well, it seems that this is another island. The sea is dead calm, but there is no apparent way to cross it. Looking at it gives the sense that there would be nothing on the horizon anyway, as you never see the sun rise and set over it either. It's an eternal night.
Anyone who's been to the dream world will think the sights and sounds are extremely familiar, though unlike the dream, you're experiencing this scenery as yourself. There are a few exceptions - your body doesn't need the things a living body does, like food or water. It's yours, but it doesn't feel fully real... though you may at least remember how to use some of your powers. Over stretches of time, being here can even make a person feel or act strange, as though they are becoming corrupted by this world.
○ Irritability
○ Apathy
○ Changes in morality
○ Inclination towards violent or destructive behavior
○ Obsession (with vengeance, usually, but can be something else)
○ Chronic pain (can be mild to excruciating)
○ Memory loss
○ Forgetfulness in general
○ Becoming unhinged or insane
○ Intense hunger or thirst (ghosts are initially less human and don’t feel these needs, and there’s also no food there by default)
○ Hallucinations
○ Sensations of burning or freezing
○ Feeling lethargic/tired
○ Loss of feeling in general or in injured area
○ Mortal wounds reappearing
These do not always happen, neither do they necessarily have to be all at once. If a dead person becomes "injured" or exerts themselves too hard, they can never die from that, but one of these signs of corruption may take permanent effect. Be careful...]
